Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for auditing incoming and outgoing products, supporting production staff with quality-related inquiries, and performing inspections in our Quality Lab. The ideal candidate will ensure that all products meet internal standards and customer expectations before shipment. Audit products shipped and received to ensure compliance with specifications.
Daily Tasks include:
- Assist production staff with quality-related questions and troubleshooting
- Perform inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
- Identify and report non-conforming materials or products
- Recommend corrective actions and process improvements
- Conduct random inspections during production to monitor quality
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
- Familiarity with inspection tools and measurement equipment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and documentation abilities
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Excel, ERP systems)
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Technical training or certification in quality control preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or inspection role
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
