Job Title: Quality Engineering Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineering Technician to perform complex inspection and testing of tooling, forged, and machined parts. In this role, you will support the lead Quality Engineer with comprehensive measures of equipment and customer parts, ensuring quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex inspection and testing of tooling, forged, and machined parts.
• Support the lead Quality Engineer with complex measurements of equipment and customer parts.
• Conduct standard inspection tasks using hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product dimensions against compliance specifications.
• Validate and communicate manufacturing processes and product quality documentation to both customer and internal teams.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in inspection, CMM, forging, and quality control.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience within manufacturing and 2 years with an AA or BS degree.
• Experience working with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
• Proficiency in quality inspection, AS9100, and quality assurance.
• Experience in aerospace and manufacturing engineering.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues with machined parts using calipers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Moderate computer skills for data entry and reporting.

Work Environment

The position provides a great opportunity for upward mobility into Quality Engineering roles. The work environment involves using advanced inspection tools and technologies, including Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
