Quality Engineer

Job Description:

• Review and triage daily quality issues from manufacturing and field installations
• Lead daily cross-functional meetings to prioritize critical issues
• Drive root cause investigations and corrective actions using structured methodologies (RCCA, 8D)
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and field service teams to resolve defects and systemic issues
• Lead and support PFMEA development and execution
• Represent Quality in engineering changes, product development, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure quality standards are integrated into design and process changes
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including meeting facilitation, action tracking, and escalation
• Use data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
• Support a fast-paced, high-volume production and installation environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• 5 years of Quality Engineering experience, or at least 3 years with a Master’s degree.
• Proven experience leading, not just supporting, RCCA (Root Cause and Corrective Action) investigations and 8D problem-solving efforts.
• Experience working in either semiconductor, automotive, or aerospace & defense industries

This is a Permanent position based out of Bridgewater, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $88000.00 - $113500.00/yr.
