Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician
Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify incoming raw materials and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Conduct final room checks and sanitation inspections to ensure cleanliness and compliance.
- Take samples of raw materials for quarantine and testing.
- Monitor labeling processes, ensuring correct usage and control of labels.
- Document daily activities, including end-of-shift reports and quality logs.
- Support compliance with food safety standards
- Collaborate with production teams to maintain quality standards and resolve issues.
Essential Skills:
- At least one year of quality assurance experience, preferably in Food and Beverage.
- Experience with Batch Records and manual/computer documentation.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Manual dexterity for operating machinery and computers.
- Working knowledge of PC, Microsoft Office, and Internet.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Work Environment
- The work environment is climate-controlled and involves both office and production areas.
Schedule
- Monday – Thursday, 4:30pm – 3:30am
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
