Shift:

• Training will occur on 1st shift for 2 months
• Then will switch to 10-6pm for roughly 3 weeks
• Then will switch to long term schedule of Mon-Thur 11:30-8pm; Fri 9:30-6pm

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated QC Analytical Chemist to join our team. You will be responsible for testing raw materials before they are used in manufacturing processes. This role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development in various analytical techniques.

Responsibilities

• Test incoming materials according to USP and EP standards.
• Conduct wet chemistry testing, including pH, IR, moisture, and ID tests.
• Engage in documentation work related to testing procedures.
• Transition into HPLC and GC work in the future.
• Work under GMP regulations to ensure quality control.
• Participate in cross-training on the Finished Product team, including particle size testing and dissolutions.
• Draft protocols and perform side tasks to support laboratory operations.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related life science field.
• Undergraduate research experience or summer internship in a relevant field.
• 0-2 years of chemistry experience in a GMP environment.
• Experience with HPLC and GC is highly desirable.
• Strong initiative and self-driven attitude.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Verona, WI.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Verona,WI.
