Actalent is now hiring QA Lab Technician for a food science lab in Saginaw, TX!
Job Description
Join our team in Fort Worth, TX as a QA Technician where you will be performing a variety of laboratory tests and other laboratory work to ensure the production of top quality and safe condiments including oil, butter, hot sauce, mayonnaise, and other specialty sauces. You will be responsible for auditing, verification, and follow-up on process controls such as weight checks, batch sheets, FSMA plant inspections, and receiving. Additionally, you will conduct post-cleaning inspections, operate, calibrate, and maintain lab equipment, and handle data collection and transfer into computer systems.
Skills
Associates or Bachelors of Science (Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology)
Lab testing experience with raw materials from school or work - MUST be familiar with pH, viscosity and titrations, HPLC, weighing samples
Excellent computer and math skills - including Excel and Word knowledge
Minimum 1 year experience of QA/QC experience OR 1 year of work experience in a fast paced roles
Work Environment
This role requires sampling and taste testing products in a climate-controlled lab. The facility contains most common allergens such as salt, dairy, gluten, soy, eggs, fish, celery, and nitrates. Team members are expected to rotate weekend coverage.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
