Job Title: Project Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Technician to support and coordinate a variety of industrial projects. This role focuses on electrical and plumbing systems, operations and maintenance (O&M), decontamination, demolition, and other facility‑related work. The position involves staff coordination, scheduling, and ensuring that projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing needs, including managing direct reports and scheduling
• Oversee day‑to‑day project execution, including ordering equipment and materials
• Coordinate subcontractor services and develop detailed work plans
• Ensure all safety documentation, procedures, and equipment are in place and followed
• Serve as a client liaison, ensuring compliance with client standards and identifying opportunities for additional support
• Maintain accurate project documentation and support overall project workflow

Essential Skills

• 10 years of experience in project coordination
• Background in MEP, Water/Wastewater, Facility Operations, or Machine Guarding
• Strong ability to manage and mentor direct reports
• Comfortable in client‑facing roles and communication
• Expertise in material coordination, subcontractor oversight, and project logistics
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Experience in facilities or facility management environments

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• A college degree is preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to travel as needed for project support

Work Environment

This is an office‑based role with required travel to project sites. The position offers a professional work environment, opportunities for advancement, and participation in an employee ownership program (ESOP). The organization is growing quickly and provides a clear path for career progression.

This is a Contract position based out of Plainville, CT.

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.25/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Plainville,CT.
