Project Superintendent

Description

• Promote and enforce a strong safety-first culture across all job sites

• Manage day-to-day field operations, ensuring crews have the materials and resources needed to stay productive

• Drive efficiency in field execution while helping control project costs

• Coordinate schedules with internal teams and plan material delivery and staging

• Lead and support site foremen, ensuring adherence to company standards and providing training on installation practices

• Act as the main point of contact for field-related questions from clients, crews, and internal stakeholders

• Participate in site walks and pre-bid meetings to gain a clear understanding of project scope and logistics

• Keep leadership informed on project status, workforce performance, and any client concerns

• Align work plans with clients and subcontractors, and communicate any schedule updates or changes

• Maintain accurate documentation including daily logs, delay notices, and weather tracking

• Track job progress and proactively address risks to schedule or budget

• Partner with estimating on large change orders or scope adjustments

• Attend regular team and scheduling meetings to stay aligned on priorities

• Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing field team that delivers a strong customer experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Valid unrestricted Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSL)

• At least 2 years of experience in a Superintendent role

• Background in commercial construction; roofing experience is a plus

• Ability to manage multiple crews and projects at once in a fast-paced environment

• Strong understanding of construction drawings, plans, and specifications

• Comfortable working with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams

• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed

This is a Contract position based out of Sudbury, MA.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Sudbury,MA.
