Job Title: Project Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing project drawings and specifications to prepare accurate time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. This role requires close collaboration with various departments to ensure project efficiency and success.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project drawings, job specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Monitor special project considerations, work with manufacturing to establish set-up costs, and determine costs of non-standard specifications.
• Maintain, update, and create project documentation within the Sales & Estimating system.
• Communicate with Sales leads to understand project deliverables, schedules, and deadlines.
• Consult with clients, vendors, and internal departments to formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Confer with Engineers, Project Managers, and Manufacturing on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
• Identify, communicate, and clarify project risks.
• Attend and prepare documentation for turnover meetings and pre-bid efforts, including completing the estimator's checklist, reviewing all bid documents, preparing scope summary sheets, and reviewing all subcontractor quotations.
• Perform sales drawing activities in CAD and REVIT to support business development.
• Prepare conceptual, value-engineered, and final budget estimates.
• Download from FTP sites for use by Sales, Development, and Estimating teams.
• Team with Sales Managers to support the overall company “Sales Initiative”.

• Proficiency in project management, construction, estimation, construction management, and project coordination.
• Experience with estimating software.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in estimating, 3D drawing, or construction design.
• Ability to create and read drawings in AutoCAD and REVIT.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Project.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of file structures like SharePoint.
• Strong math skills for calculating volumes, rebar quantities, and weights.
• Effective communication skills with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

• Experience in the precast/prestressed concrete industry is highly preferred.
• On-site construction experience is a plus.
• Adaptability to change and emerging trends.

The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, involving interaction with various departments, clients, and vendors. The role requires proficiency in utilizing technologies such as AutoCAD, REVIT, and Microsoft Office Suite. Dress code is business casual.

This is a Permanent position based out of Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
