Project Manager

The Project Manager plays a key role in supporting complex capital projects from planning through construction and installation. This position assists project leadership in developing and validating project work plans, monitors engineering and construction performance against those plans, and supports data gathering and analysis for progress, schedule, deliverables, and budget reporting. The role requires close collaboration with project stakeholders, supply chain, and construction teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while adhering to established internal processes and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Management Supervisor and Client Sponsor in the formulation and validation of project work plans, ensuring alignment with project objectives and constraints.
• Monitor and influence the performance of planning, engineering, design, and construction activities to ensure they follow approved plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Make informed recommendations to the Project Management Supervisor and/or Client Sponsor to address project issues, inefficiencies, and concerns in a timely manner.
• Support the project team in developing and scoping project documents, including schedules, deliverables, and cost estimates, to establish clear expectations and baselines.
• Coordinate with supply chain teams and project stakeholders to ensure materials and equipment are procured and delivered in accordance with the project schedule.
• Oversee the bid process when required, including managing bid activities and holding contractors accountable for adherence to system safety processes.
• Coordinate construction activities with the project team to facilitate smooth execution and resolve conflicts or constraints that may impact progress.
• Coordinate all activities required for the successful installation of assigned projects under the supervision of the Program Manager and/or Client Sponsor.
• Collaborate with Client Sponsor leadership to determine reporting requirements and provide accurate, timely reports at agreed intervals to support business needs.
• Oversee and ensure adherence to internal project management processes, standards, and controls throughout the lifecycle of assigned projects.
• Support project budget management activities, including cost tracking, cost analysis, projections, and re-projections as needed.
• Contribute to construction management efforts by coordinating engineering, procurement, and construction personnel to maintain project alignment and performance.
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Project Management, or Engineering.

This is a Permanent position based out of New Albany, OH.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $52.88/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
