  • Prepare and complete regulatory compliance reports, work plans, and special studies that support environmental monitoring and landfill compliance.
  • Conduct data entry and perform statistical analysis to interpret environmental and geologic data accurately.
  • Communicate technical concepts, evaluation results, plans, and reports during work team meetings, ensuring conformance with applicable technical standards and internal policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with other team members to deliver integrated, multidisciplinary project solutions.
  • Coordinate with contractors and clients to plan and execute project tasks efficiently and safely.
  • Conduct field inspections and provide construction quality assurance oversight for relevant projects.
  • Coordinate with field teams and laboratories to prepare sampling paperwork and bottle orders for upcoming sampling events.
  • Provide oversight during the installation of monitoring wells and supervise other field tasks as needed.
  • Perform additional project-related duties as required to support successful project delivery.
  • Perform physical tasks in the field, including lifting up to 50 pounds, operating in outdoor environments, and handling field equipment.
  • Demonstrate and promote a strong 'Safety First' work ethic in all field and office activities.
  • Manage projects independently when appropriate, particularly for environmental monitoring and landfill compliance programs.
Essential Skills

  • Ability to work effectively on multidisciplinary projects and collaborate with engineers, scientists, and other professionals.
  • Demonstrated 'Safety First' mindset and commitment to safe field and office practices.
  • Ability to perform physical fieldwork, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working outdoors in varying conditions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Possession of a Geologist-in-Training (GIT) credential, with flexibility for strong candidates who are actively working toward this credential.
  • Experience with environmental monitoring and report writing specifically for landfill compliance programs.
  • Ability to manage projects independently, including coordination with contractors, laboratories, and clients.
  • Familiarity with civil engineering concepts and their application to geologic and environmental projects.
  • Experience coordinating field sampling events, including preparing sampling paperwork and bottle orders.
  • Experience overseeing the installation of monitoring wells and supervising field crews.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when handling data, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Motivation to contribute to a growing team and to make a meaningful impact on projects and communities.
  • Interest in continuous learning and professional development, supported by investment in personal and professional growth.

Field work includes environmental sampling, field inspections, monitoring well installation oversight, and construction quality assurance, often in outdoor conditions and requiring the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle field equipment safely. Office-based work involves data entry, statistical analysis, report preparation, and participation in team meetings using standard technical and analytical tools. The team culture emphasizes meaningful work, respect, and flexibility to support a full life at work and at home, along with a strong commitment to delivering for clients and communities.
