Project Designer

We are seeking a seasoned and driven Architect/Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing the Construction Administration phase of multiple architectural projects, implementing and overseeing firm-wide CA protocols and best practices.

• Conduct site visits, review submittals, RFIs, and coordinate with contractors and consultants.
• Ensure compliance with design intent, specifications, and building codes.
• Spearhead QA/QC processes to maintain high standards of documentation and construction quality.
• Collaborate with project architects and design teams to resolve field issues efficiently.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to professional development within the CA team.
• Maintain detailed records of construction progress, issues, and resolutions.
• Act as a primary liaison between the firm, clients, and construction teams.
• Contribute to projects in the education, municipal, and community sectors, ensuring alignment with public agency standards and stakeholder requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• 10–20 years of experience in architectural construction administration.
• Demonstrated experience with education, municipal, and community-based projects.
• Deep understanding of construction documentation, building systems, and detailing.
• Proven experience in QA/QC processes and field coordination.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with a proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Revit and construction management software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, BIM 360).

• Architectural licensure preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD.

This is a Permanent position based out of Charlotte, NC.

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
