Project Cost Analyst
The Project Cost Analyst is responsible for coordinating project team activities and supporting Project Managers in project logistics. The role involves mentoring and training less experienced project coordinators, ensuring seamless project execution and financial accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Prepare cost re-projections and budget variance explanations for project spending.
- Prepare contract requisitions and participate in the bidding process.
- Coordinate the work order process from creation to in-service and closure.
- Organize project meetings including strategy/project planning, kick-off, and status meetings.
- Collaborate with project team members on project activities and communicate with engineers and designers on behalf of the Project Manager.
- Support Project Manager in the preparation and updating of project documents and plans.
- Manage project logistics such as temporary office facilities, permits, and utilities.
- Conduct re-projections of project spending, cash flows, and budget variance monitoring.
- Provide analysis and verification for SOX activities.
- Track, analyze, and submit information for un-vouchered liabilities and develop invoice data for billable work orders.
- Assist in preparing Request for Proposal and/or Scope of Work, and evaluate bids.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain and Contractors on contracts, invoices, and proposals.
- Mentor and train less experienced project coordinators.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in budgets, projections, cost tracking, and cost analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office projects.
- Experience with financial costing software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree

This is a Permanent position based out of New Albany, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.55 - $38.06/hr.
