Job Description

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support a growing engineering team delivering natural gas infrastructure projects throughout Pennsylvania. This position will work closely with Project Managers, engineers, construction teams, and other stakeholders to keep projects organized, documented, and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with project planning, coordination, scheduling, and milestone tracking.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, permitting, surveying, environmental, procurement, and construction teams.
• Maintain project documentation including drawings, permits, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.
• Manage document control, tracking, and version organization throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track project schedules, deliverables, budgets, forecasts, and action items.
• Prepare and distribute project status reports.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, document action items, and follow up with stakeholders.
• Serve as a point of communication between office teams, field personnel, contractors, and clients.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook to maintain project trackers, reports, and documentation.

Essential Skills

• 4 years of experience in project coordination, project administration, or a similar role.
• Experience supporting construction, engineering, utilities, or other technical projects.
• Strong project coordination, scheduling, and document control experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Natural gas, utility, or energy industry experience is a plus.
• Experience tracking project budgets, forecasts, schedules, or resources is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional office and field teams.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position, with 3 days per week in the office and the remaining days remote. Youll work alongside another Project Coordinator while supporting multiple teams within an established energy-focused group.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsburgh, PA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a hybrid position in Pittsburgh,PA.
