Project Civil Engineer

Overview

Supports land/site development and stormwater projects from planning through construction, working in Civil 3D within a small, fast-paced team.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute design and analysis for site layout, grading, utilities, and stormwater systems
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and cost estimates
• Assist with construction administration (submittals, RFIs, coordination)
• Participate in site visits and inspections to ensure design compliance
• Collaborate with internal teams and communicate with clients/stakeholders

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering FE required
• 0–5 years experience (land/site development or stormwater preferred)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Strong technical writing, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and travel as needed

Nice to Have

• Stormwater design/analysis experience
• Hands-on Civil 3D (internship or academic)
• Exposure across full project lifecycle

Work Environment

• Collaborative team with a family-oriented culture.
• Mix of office-based design work and occasional field/client interaction.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $85000.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Omaha,NE.
