Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Project Assistant in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in roles that require a strong understanding of PowerBI and Microsoft Office applications. This position involves working closely with a Project Manager to assist with project forecasts, financial analysis, scheduling, and data management tools.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager with project forecasts, financial reports, and schedules.
- Provide administrative support and manage document control.
- Engage in project administration and coordination tasks.
- Utilize PowerBI, Microsoft Excel, and other data visualization tools for project data analysis.
- Support the management of vendors using Wellview.
- Perform data entry and maintain project documentation.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a related role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- Experience with PowerBI and other data visualization tools such as Spotfire.
- Familiarity with Ariba and SAP.
- Past experience in the Oil & Gas industry in roles such as Project Coordinator or Operations Assistant.
- Associates Degree in Business or Technical Field or equivalent.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in operations, administration, sales, engineering, and project management.
- Skills in data gathering and financial analysis.
- Strong project coordination abilities.
Work Environment
The role requires working 3 days in the office from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm, with the remainder of the time remote. Enjoy benefits such as holiday and paid time off.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
