Project Architect

Job Description

I'm working with a well-known architecture and engineering firm with one location in the Allentown, PA area. They're hiring an Architect to join their team as a PA/PM. They support projects in multiple sectors including corporate, education, science & technology, multi-family residential, mixed use, and commercial. This position is pressing and they are looking to hire ASAP! Responsibilities

• Team leadership, and overseeing the production and coordination of several projects concurrently;
• Conducting schematic design, design development and contract document work sessions in conjunction with clients, project staff, and representatives from other disciplines;
• Preparing technical drawings and specifications to ensure that our projects conform to specifications, codes, standards, and client requirements;
• Coordinating with both architecture and engineering team members to deliver an integrated set of documents across all contracted disciplines;
• Working with BIM model for integration and coordination of building systems and distribution;
• Establishing good client relationships and coordinating with outside consultants;
• Participating in marketing, contractual, design and production meetings;
• Coordinating with the Partner in Charge for project reviews; and
• Acting as a mentor for less experienced Project Designers.

Essential Skills

• Architecture degree and experience working in an architecture firm.
• 8 years of experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in design review and review of shop drawings.
• Revit proficiency is required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of project phases, scheduling, budgeting, and construction processes.
• Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Allentown, Pennsylvania. They offer a hybrid schedule (4 days in office per week) with flexible hours.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
