Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing code reviews, ensuring compliance with project budgets and schedules, and selecting, evaluating, and implementing design components in various projects. You will manage significant aspects of larger projects and oversee smaller projects from inception to completion. You will also be involved in the daily design and technical development of projects, supervising the production of Construction Documents through CAD and BIM, and coordinating Quality Assurance and Quality Control of consultants' work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct code reviews and ensure projects comply with budgets and schedules.
• Select, evaluate, and implement design components in projects.
• Evaluate existing conditions and formulate responses to challenges.
• Oversee significant aspects of larger projects and manage smaller projects independently.
• Supervise and produce Construction Documents through CAD and BIM.
• Coordinate and ensure Quality Assurance and Quality Control of consultants’ work.
• Understand planning board requirements.
• Perform Construction Administration for selected projects.
• Apply advanced knowledge of construction techniques and material selection.
• Maintain project files for multiple projects simultaneously.
• Document and communicate specific project tasks to clients and team members.
• Comply with internal project budgets and manage team hours.
• Design and implement project scope of work while adhering to schedules.
• Manage between 1 to 15 projects at a time.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Revit is mandatory.
• Licensed Architect.
• Experience in Education and/or Public/State Projects (No retail, multifamily, or commercial experience).
• Technical experience in all phases of design, documentation, detailing, and construction.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Branchburg, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $110000.00/yr.

This is a hybrid position in Branchburg,NJ.
