Project Architect

We are seeking a mid‑level Architect to support our Project Architect and broader design team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys blending design, technical detailing, and project coordination in a fast‑paced design‑build environment.

Responsibilities

• Work under the guidance of a Project Architect to support design, documentation, and project delivery.
• Participate in design development, assisting with conceptual studies, schematic layouts, and design presentations.
• Prepare project documentation for all phases, including drawings, specifications, and coordination sets.
• Assist in evaluating client requirements and developing design solutions aligned with project goals.
• Research materials, products, and building systems to support informed design decisions.
• Contribute to the development and documentation of architectural details and construction assemblies.
• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and internal construction teams to ensure accurate, constructible documentation.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance with contract documents.
• Participate in client meetings, site visits, and construction coordination discussions as needed.
• Maintain high standards for quality, accuracy, and consistency across all project documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (professional degree preferred but not required).
• 5 years of professional architectural experience in an architecture or design‑build environment.
• Strong understanding of building codes, zoning, and regulatory processes.
• Demonstrated experience preparing drawings and documentation across multiple project phases.
• Proficiency in Revit required; experience with AutoCAD, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam preferred.
• Ability to collaborate within small, fast‑paced project teams.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Licensure is a plus but not required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
