As a Power Distribution Engineer, you'll guide electric utility distribution design efforts, support Project Managers, and lead a growing team of consultants and design professionals. What You’ll Do
- Drive electric utility distribution design efforts while partnering closely with Project Managers.
- Manage and coordinate external consultants supporting Distribution Design projects.
- Prepare and oversee proposals, schedules, and budget estimates for client initiatives.
- Assign, schedule, and review work to ensure quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
- Lead and grow the Distribution Design group—including hiring, mentoring, marketing services, and delivering exceptional client service.
- Support business development, fostering relationships with clients and strategic partners.
- Maintain accurate records, QA/QC documentation, and performance metrics across all projects.
- Represent the company through committee participation, industry groups, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Travel as needed to support project execution.
- Administer organizational policies, training, safety standards, salary reviews, and performance evaluations.
- Approve timesheets, expenses, and achieve weekly billable targets.
What You’ll Bring
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Power Delivery preferred).
- 5 years of experience in power distribution, utility design, or related engineering fields.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate and interface with clients, agencies, and the public.
- Detail‑oriented approach to quality, documentation, and project tracking.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $127000.00/hr.
