You’ll join a collaborative, fast‑moving team working on a wide range of impactful projects, partnering closely with architects, contractors, and multi‑disciplinary engineers to create safe, efficient, and code‑compliant building systems.
🔧 What You’ll Do
- Design and engineer plumbing, mechanical, and fire protection systems across a variety of building types
- Perform on‑site inspections and evaluations, ensuring systems meet all applicable codes and safety standards
- Collaborate daily with architects, contractors, and internal engineering teams for seamless system integration
- Create detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Complete engineering calculations, modeling, and simulations to optimize system performance and reliability
- Provide technical support throughout construction and commissioning
- Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with industry innovations, codes, and best practices
🧠 What You Bring
- 1–4 years of relevant professional experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineering
- Hands‑on experience designing plumbing and fire protection systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MEP design tools
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, building codes, and design standards

- Experience on healthcare projects
- Revit proficiency
- Familiarity with electrical engineering concepts
- EIT or PE certification, or actively working toward licensure

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Deer Park, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00/hr.
