Job Description
As a Plumbing Engineer, you will join project teams collaborating with top architects, contractors, and facility owners across various sectors, including education, healthcare, research, institutional, multi-family, and mixed-use. You will apply creative solutions to complex challenges and contribute to projects from concept through construction.
Responsibilities
- Design plumbing systems, including domestic hot and cold water, sanitary waste and vent, stormwater, and various specialty systems.
- Collaborate with professionals across disciplines to ensure project success.
- Develop practical solutions using strong problem-solving skills.
- Utilize BIM tools such as AutoCAD and Revit to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Manage multiple projects, milestones, and deadlines effectively.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients.
- Mentor team members and delegate tasks to support team growth.
- Balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail.
- Embrace continuous learning and professional development.
Essential Skills
- 5 to 15 years of experience in plumbing system engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and team-oriented.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with HVAC and plumbing/fire protection design.
- Drafting skills.
- Revit MEP proficiency.
- Possession of a PE license is a significant advantage.
