We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Designer to design plumbing systems including domestic water, sanitary waste, storm drainage, and specialty systems such as medical gas and compressed air. You will be responsible for preparing construction documents, coordinating with various disciplines, and ensuring compliance with plumbing codes.
Responsibilities- Design plumbing systems including domestic water, sanitary waste, storm drainage, and specialty systems like medical gas and compressed air.
- Prepare construction documents including drawings, specifications, and calculations.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems.
- Perform site visits and field investigations to support design development and construction administration.
- Assist in code research and ensure designs comply with local, state, and national plumbing codes.
- Participate in internal design reviews and quality control processes.
- Support project managers in meeting project schedules and budgets.
- 2 years of experience in plumbing design for building systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
- Familiarity with plumbing codes (UPC, IPC, NFPA).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
