We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Phlebotomist to join our laboratory team in Midland, TX. This float position involves working across multiple nearby locations, providing top-tier specimen collection and patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and collect specimens (blood, urine, fecal) with precision and professionalism
• Use straight and butterfly needles confidently across diverse patient populations
• Accurately label, split, freeze, and package specimens for transport
• Match requisition forms with specimen tubes and ensure proper documentation
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and facility safety standards
• Provide courteous explanations of procedures and respond to patient inquiries
• Record maintenance logs, decontaminate workspaces, and update patient records
• Support workflow improvements and assist in training new team members

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical or hospital setting (donor center experience not applicable)
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid phlebotomy certification preferred but not mandatory
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must have reliable transportation for travel between assigned locations

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
