Phlebotomist – Waco, TX
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team in Waco, Texas! The Phlebotomist will perform blood collection procedures with accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism while delivering an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture, capillary punctures, and specimen collection according to established protocols.
- Verify patient identity and ensure accurate labeling and handling of all samples.
- Prepare specimens for transport or testing following safety and quality guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of phlebotomy work areas and equipment.
- Enter patient and specimen data into electronic systems with precision and attention to detail.
- Provide clear instructions and support to patients to ensure comfort and compliance during procedures.
- Follow all infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements consistently.
- Collaborate with clinical staff, laboratory personnel, and other departments as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous phlebotomy experience in a clinical, hospital, or laboratory setting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients of all ages.
- Ability to work efficiently, maintain accuracy, and adapt to changing priorities.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
