Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist III to join our hospital clinic team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling around 30 patients daily, specializing in pediatric and geriatric care. The position requires standing for most of the shift and involves working closely with a team of three Phlebotomists.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy procedures on approximately 30 patients each day.
• Specialize in pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy techniques.
• Collaborate with a team of three Phlebotomists.
• Participate in a two-week orientation and training period.
• Process and accurately enter orders.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Phlebotomy.
• Experience in pediatric phlebotomy.
• Proficiency in drawing blood, processing samples, and order entry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills.
• Flexibility in handling diverse patient needs.
• Comfortable with difficult blood draws.

Work Environment

The role is based in a medium-sized hospital clinic, requiring standing for most of the shift. The dress code is professional attire suitable for a clinical environment. Team collaboration is emphasized, with three Phlebotomists working together to ensure efficient patient care.

This is a Contract position based out of Waco, TX.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.90/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Waco,TX.
