Pharmacy Technician

Support pharmacy operations by picking, labeling, scanning, and preparing prescriptions for final pharmacist verification.

Responsibilities

• Accurately fill daily drug orders under pharmacist supervision.
• Process returned medications and manage disposal per procedures.
• Prepack and label frequently ordered medications.
• Pull/pick medications from shelving and storage areas.
• Apply labels to blister cards and scan for accuracy.
• Report any scanning issues to the pharmacist.
• Maintain workstation cleanliness and restock supplies.
• Follow HIPAA and all regulatory requirements.
• Work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.
• Comply with safety, attendance, and dress code policies.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Physical Demands

• Frequent sitting, standing, bending, and walking.
• May stand/sit 7–10 hours per day.
• Lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
• Requires fine motor skills, clear vision, and normal hearing.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work at a moderate pace.
• English reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Active Georgia Pharmacy Technician License.

This is a Contract position based out of Macon, GA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
