Pharmacy Technician Trainee

Responsibilities

• Show initiative and take a proactive approach to your work.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all tasks.
• Prioritize multiple tasks throughout the day to ensure adherence to service levels.
• Under the supervision of a pharmacist, pull and fill patient prescriptions accurately.
• Prepare medications accurately for verification and delivery.
• Package medications accurately and ensure all required paperwork is complete and accurate.
• Maintain patient records accurately and completely.
• Keep your workstation and all equipment needed for prescription fulfillment neat and clean.
• Assist in inventory stocking and perform other duties to ensure patient care.
• Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA and compliance regulations.

• Possess a Texas pharmacy technician license or be a registered trainee.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
• Show initiative and enthusiasm in the workplace.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

• Experience in a retail pharmacy setting is a plus.
• Pharmacy technician certification is beneficial.

This role is based onsite in Irving, TX, USA. Working hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM with opportunities for overtime. The environment is fast-paced and requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure patient safety and satisfaction. Dress code adheres to standard pharmacy attire, maintaining a professional appearance at all times.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
