Pharmacy Technician Assistant
Job Description
Join our team as a Pharmacy Technician Assistant, where you will play a crucial role in the medication management of specialty pharmaceuticals and related supplies. You will work in a closed-door pharmacy fulfillment site, collaborating closely with pharmacists and certified pharmacy technicians.
Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medications and related supplies following regulations and company policies.
- Process pharmacy orders, ensuring all necessary items are included.
- Perform drug and supply ordering and manage inventory efficiently.
- Ensure proper storage of drugs and supplies, including refrigeration of perishable products.
- Monitor and adjust pharmacy equipment as needed to ensure optimal operation.
Essential Skills
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Pharmacy experience or packing medication experience is required.
- Ability to lift 35lbs throughout the day and be on feet all day.
- Strong attention to detail with no room for error.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Pharmacy Technician Certification/Registration is preferred, but not required.
- Positive attitude and self-motivation are essential.
- Interest in the pharmaceutical industry and fulfillment processes.
Work Environment
This role offers a supportive and dynamic work environment with hours from 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday, and optional overtime on weekends. You will have the opportunity to be cross-trained as a pharmacy technician, with potential for career advancement once nationally certified.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Overland Park, KS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
