Pharmacist

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented pharmacist to join our team. This role involves verifying prescription orders, dispensing medications, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

• Verify prescription orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Contact prescribers for clarification on medication orders as needed.
• Dispense medications, ensuring correct drug, dosage, and instructions.
• Complete insurance authorizations and manage denials.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information.
• Supervise pharmacy staff and ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Support pharmacy safety, security, and adherence to company policies.
• Serve as supervising pharmacist in the absence of the Pharmacist-In-Charge.
• Participate in business development activities as needed.

• Pharmacy skills
• Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Successful completion of state pharmacy board examination
• Current and active Ohio and Kentucky pharmacist license (KY license can be pending but must be pursued)

This position operates on a Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 30 hours per week on the 1st shift. The pharmacy is open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The work environment is supportive and compliant with safety and security standards, offering a professional setting for pharmacists to thrive.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
