Pharmacist

Actalent is looking for a pharmacist for a large organization in Fort Worth, TX! If you are interested, please read over the details below.

Job details:

• Counsel patients over the phone about medications (6–8 hours/day)
• Verify prescriptions (2 hours/day)
• Oversee pharmacy technicians
• Conduct clinical reviews and document pharmacotherapy plans
• Coordinate care with clinicians and support services
• Provide subcutaneous teaching and on-call support as needed
• Ensure compliance with REMS, pharmacy laws, and internal SOPs
• Handle prescription processing, intake, and discontinuation
• Maintain high standards of customer service and patient education

Pay/benefits:

• $60/hour 2–3% annual raise
• Health, dental, and vision
• 401K

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM CST (onsite)
• Occasional Saturdays (8–10 times/year, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) with a weekday off in exchange
  • Saturday schedule provided a year in advance

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years counseling patients and verifying prescriptions
• Background: Retail or independent pharmacy preferred; hospital experience acceptable
• Comfortable being on the phone most of the day
• Strong time management and attention to detail

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Keller, TX.

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $60.00/hr.
