Job Description

The Pharmacist will be responsible for interpreting prescription orders, obtaining necessary information from healthcare providers, and conducting Drug Utilization Reviews. This role involves direct supervision of pharmacy support personnel and ensuring compliance with FDA and manufacturer restrictions associated with REMS drugs.

Responsibilities

• Verify prescription validity and resolve discrepancies, seeking clarification when necessary.
• Perform prescription verification and certification.
• Consult with prescribers, nurses, and patients regarding drug interactions, adverse effects, and medication storage.
• Ensure correct medication, directions for use, and other prescription information.
• Compound nonsterile prescriptions and monitor inventory, ordering, distribution, and use of compounded medications.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
• 1 years of experience in retail or long-term care settings.
• Active Minnesota Pharmacist License.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $72.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Saint Paul,MN.
