Packaging Engineer Manager

Job Description:

• Lead packaging projects or teams to design, develop, optimize and specify materials that deliver consumer benefit through new products, quality improvements and cost-savings opportunities.
• Apply industry-leading technologies and tools and leverage supplier relationships while effectively managing intellectual property rights.
• Deliver solutions on time and on budget using project management methodologies and providing status updates to stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership for packaging development and packaging technologies by: continually updating your business-relevant expertise; driving the technical development of people by teaching, coaching, mentoring and identifying future technical leaders; defining and sharing technical best practices, and; influencing the technical direction of the business.

Requirements:

• B.S or M.S. Packaging or Technical degree (Mechanical, Industrial Chemical or Food Engineering.)
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in packaging development
• Leadership experience required 
• Strong technical foundation and a high level of technical curiosity 
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage complexity 
• Executional excellence, personal leadership, time management and problem-solving competencies 

This is a Permanent position based out of Morristown, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $135000.00 - $145000.00/yr.

This is a hybrid position in Morristown,NJ.
