Order Entry Pharmacy Technician
Description
The Order Entry Technician is responsible for order entry and triage. They pick up incoming calls and direct appropriately. They will also talk with LTC Facilities, pharmacists, nurses and physicians. They take in drug orders via faxes and other forms. They also answer questions on meds. Utilize Frameworks and Frameworks ECM.
• Establishes and maintains accurate and up-to-date patient profiles
• Receives prescriptions and refill requests and verifies that information is complete and accurate
• Processes prescriptions using third party insurance billing
• Answers telephone calls and assists facilities and patients with questions and refers them to the pharmacist for medication information as needed
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must haves:
- Registered pharmacy technician with the state of MN (national certification does not count, they have to be registered with MN)
- 6 months of pharmacy experience in order entry

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
