Order Entry Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

We are looking for an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician who will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering prescriptions and refills into the pharmacy system. This role requires addressing customer needs courteously and responsively while utilizing customer information to enhance products and services.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy system.
• Resolve customer questions and requests promptly.
• Contribute to the improvement of client services, policies, and procedures.
• Comply with safety regulations, attendance policies, dress code, and government regulations, including HIPAA.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Essential Skills

• Pharmacy experience
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT)
• Proficiency in data entry
• Pharmacy technician certification

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous order entry experience of 3-6 months or more
• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the state of Minnesota
• Experience with framework systems is preferred

Work Environment

The position operates on a 2nd shift schedule from 3 PM to 11:30 PM, including weekend shifts every other weekend.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
