Job Description
This role leads the design, architecture, and delivery of complex, secure, and scalable Oracle EPM Cloud solutions that support critical financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. You will partner closely with finance and technology teams to streamline and standardize business processes, migrate legacy Hyperion environments to the cloud, and ensure that EPM solutions are robust, high-performing, and aligned with strategic business objectives. This is a SR., hands-on position that combines deep technical expertise with strong stakeholder engagement and leadership.
This role is a Sr. Oracle EPM Cloud Architect / Lead responsible for designing, delivering, and optimizing enterprise‑scale EPBCS solutions across planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The position combines strategic architecture, deep financial domain knowledge, and hands‑on technical execution. You will lead end‑to‑end EPM Cloud implementations, partner closely with finance and IT stakeholders, standardize and globalize financial processes, and ensure solutions are secure, scalable, high‑performing, and aligned to business objectives. The role also serves as a thought leader and mentor, guiding teams on Oracle EPM best practices, cloud migrations, automation, and long‑term sustainability.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Oracle EPM Expertise
- 12 years of Oracle EPM experience (EPBCS/PBCS, Hyperion Planning, Essbase, ARCS, FCCS)
- Proven delivery of end‑to‑end EPBCS solutions (planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting)
- Strong knowledge of Oracle EPM Cloud architecture, infrastructure, and security
Functional & Financial Skills
- Deep understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
- Experience designing financial models, dashboards, and management reports
Expertise in EPBCS modules:
- Workforce Planning
- Capital Asset Planning
- Financials
- Projects
Technical & Automation Skills
- Advanced Groovy scripting for business rules and automation
- Hands‑on experience with REST APIs for system integrations
- Proficient with EPM Automate for administration and operational tasks
Strong data integration experience using:
- Data Management
- EPM Agent
- ETL tools
Cloud Migration & Optimization
- Proven experience migrating on‑prem Hyperion solutions to Oracle EPM Cloud
- Ability to optimize EPM performance for scalability, reliability, and user experience
- Strong focus on minimizing customizations and promoting reusable, standardized designs
Security & Governance
- Experience managing EPM application security and user provisioning
- Integration with IDCS and LDAP
- Emphasis on secure, compliant, and well‑governed EPM environments
Consulting & Leadership Skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement across finance, IT, and global teams
- Ability to lead map‑gap analyses, workshops, and solution design sessions
- Skilled at presenting complex concepts clearly to non‑technical audiences
- Experience producing functional/technical specifications, test plans, and test scripts
- Leadership mindset focused on best practices, mentoring, and continuous improvement

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $85.00/hr.
