Provide fundamental clerical and administrative support to maintain organized and efficient office operations.
Responsibilities- Assist in managing incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries, ensuring accurate distribution to designated recipients.
- Perform basic data entry tasks, including office and line crew timecard entry, updating records, spreadsheets, and databases, contributing to accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Support office organization by filing, photocopying, scanning, and maintaining neat and orderly workspaces.
- Greet and direct visitors and guests in a professional and friendly manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate individuals or departments, providing assistance and information as needed.
- Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and events, ensuring effective time management for staff.
- Handle routine administrative tasks, such as ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Demonstrated work experience in an administrative or clerical role.
- Experience with timekeeping software is preferred.
- A great attitude and a willingness to learn the position.
The position is based in the Pell City Office. Initially, the role will require working five days per week in the office. Once familiar with the position, the schedule will shift to four days per week in the office, with one day working remotely. This opportunity offers a chance to gain experience with Alabama's largest utility.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
