Job Title: Mixer

Responsibilities

• Operate mixing, filling, and grinding machines to produce products.
• Manage the grinding machine and ensuring it is processed correctly.
• Operate bagger machines, adjusting speed, temperature, and smart scale weights, and monitor film on bags.
• Read and interpret batch tickets to prepare products accurately.
• Weigh and add specific amounts of raw materials to batches.
• Operate a tumbler for mixing materials 2-3 days a week.
• Monitor and set up equipment on the line, including mixers, fillers, ovens, presses, baggers, and cartoners.
• Ensure proper monitoring of temperatures, speed, durations, and perform necessary machine adjustments.
• Conduct visual and quality inspections to maintain product standards.
• Perform cleaning duties such as wiping down machinery and clearing jams.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in mixing, blending, and compounding in the food industry.
• Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Some leadership experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with baggers, wrappers, films, cartoners, mixers, and fillers.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Opportunity to gain PCQI and HACCP certifications.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.95/hr.
