What You’ll Do
- Perform routine and non-routine environmental monitoring of cleanrooms, utilities, and equipment surfaces (air, water, surfaces) to ensure compliance with cGMP and internal quality standards.
- Collect, incubate, and analyze microbiological samples using aseptic techniques and industry-standard methods.
- Identify and report microbial trends, contributing to proactive contamination control strategies.
- Support investigations related to environmental excursions, deviations, and out-of-specification (OOS) results.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all sampling activities and test results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support audits, CAPAs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all equipment used for monitoring is calibrated, maintained, and functioning properly.
- Assist in the development and revision of SOPs and monitoring protocols.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related life science field.
- Experience in environmental monitoring, cleanroom operations, or microbiological testing (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques, GMP regulations, and contamination control principles.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
