We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Metrology Lab Technician to support our R&D Metrology team. This role is perfect for someone interested in laboratory, manufacturing, quality, or engineering environments. As a Metrology Lab Technician, you will assist in measuring and evaluating plastic components and products using various metrology equipment and procedures. This entry-level position requires strong attention to detail, good judgment, and the ability to work independently while following established processes.
Responsibilities- Perform measurements on plastic components and products using metrology equipment and established procedures.
- Record, organize, and maintain measurement data accurately.
- Follow laboratory procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Assist with sample preparation and handling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
- Communicate measurement results and observations to team members and stakeholders.
- Work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating with the R&D and Metrology teams.
- Support additional laboratory activities as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good problem-solving skills and a practical/common-sense approach to work.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and documentation.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Previous experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, quality, inspection, or metrology environment is preferred.
- Experience using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, optical measurement systems, or similar equipment.
- Familiarity with handling and inspecting plastic components.
This position is based in a lab setting, operating Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a structured laboratory environment and will be able to learn new equipment and processes quickly.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
