Travel Medical Technologist – 3rd Shift

Location: Travel Assignment

Shift: 3rd Shift | Rotating Weekends

Pay: $2,600–$2,800 per week (competitive, based on experience)

Contract: Travel / Contract Assignment

Job Description

Actalent is seeking an experienced Travel Medical Technologist to join a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives on overnight shifts and is flexible with rotating weekend coverage. The Medical Technologist will perform routine and complex laboratory testing to support accurate diagnosis and patient care.

Responsibilities

·      Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing including hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and blood bank (as applicable)

·      Analyze specimens and accurately document results in the laboratory information system

·      Ensure quality control procedures and regulatory compliance are followed

·      Troubleshoot laboratory equipment and report issues as needed

·      Collaborate with laboratory staff and clinical teams to support patient care

·      Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment

Schedule

• 3rd Shift (Overnights)

• Rotating weekends required

Qualifications

·      Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field

·      ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification required

·      Active state license (if applicable)

·      Minimum 1–2 years of recent clinical laboratory experience

·      Ability to work independently during overnight shifts

·      Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care

Compensation & Benefits

·      Weekly gross pay: $2,600–$2,800

This is a Contract position based out of Memphis, TN.

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $65.00/hr.
