Immediately hiring a Medical Lab Technologist in Microbiology in Hicksville
Schedule:
- Day shift: 7:00am - 5:00pm (10 hour shift)
- Tuesday, Thursday and confirming Friday or Saturday
Description
- Perform microbiology testing, including culture setup, organism identification, and susceptibility testing.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
- Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Document and report findings in compliance with laboratory and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to support patient care.
- Maintain quality control and participate in proficiency testing programs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Active NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist license
- 2 years of recent experience in microbiology in a medical lab (PCR tests, cultures, susceptibility testing)
- ASCP is preferred

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $47.00 - $52.00/hr.
