Medical Device Engineering Technician

This role reports into production and seeks higher-level engineering support. The Engineering Technician will engage in high-level assembly and rework of medical devices, along with performing higher-level mechanical testing. No voltage or electrical testing will be involved.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-level assembly and rework of medical devices
• Conduct higher-level mechanical testing
• Follow engineering schematics and blueprints
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components
• Adhere to work instructions and quality standards

Essential Skills

• Engineering degree (Associate's or Bachelor's with internship/co-op experience)
• 5 years of experience with subassembly
• 5 years of experience in the medical device industry
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and mechanical repair
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with using oscilloscopes
• Strong understanding of mechanical and engineering principles

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
