What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant - Vascular position at Actalent?
Description:
The Medical Assistant will work to assist the providers with patient appointments in a surgical physician's clinic. Responsibilities will include: taking patient vitals, entering medical history, cleaning and stocking exam rooms, and preparing patient charts for providers on clinic days. Medical assistants are also responsible for scanning all patient documents to charts, scheduling radiology testing, and obtaining all necessary records and films for providers to review at appointments.
The medical assistant will train at the Overland Park clinic, then be available to travel to either Lee Summit and/or Independence.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant
Minimum 3 months of experience working in a physician's clinic rooming patients and taking vitals
Strong knowledge of medical terminology

Eager to learn and grow
