Description
Major Responsibilities (in addition to the above) • Leads conceptual mechanical design for new products with a focus on packaging and enclosures. • Develops detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks (or similar CAD tools). • Collaborates closely with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams from concept through production. • Creates and maintains bills of materials (BOMs), engineering documentation, and quality/work instructions. • Validates design specs, engineering change orders (ECOs), and part documentation. • Solves environmental design challenges (e.g., thermal, EMI, vibration). • Converts customer requirements into practical, manufacturable solutions. • Manages multiple projects while ensuring deadlines, quality, and cost targets are met

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. • Five or more years of mechanical product design experience across R&D and production. • Strong knowledge of materials, fabrication techniques, and mechanical packaging of electronics. • Proficiency in SolidWorks (or similar CAD tools) and related PLM/document control systems. • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
