Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to support design work for aircraft upgrades. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain extensive hands-on experience within a small and dynamic organization.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of aircraft upgrades using Solidworks and other CAD software.
• Collaborate closely with leadership and fellow engineers to ensure design specifications meet project requirements.
• Participate actively in hands-on work within the hangar environment, applying mechanical engineering expertise to real-world challenges.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical engineering expertise with 4-6 years of experience.
• Proficiency in Solidworks and CAD software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in aircraft design and upgrades.

Work Environment

This role is based onsite in a hangar in Guntersville, AL, where you will work directly on aircraft. The work environment includes both hands-on floor work and a cubicle in office space, ensuring close proximity to leadership and other engineers. The schedule consists of four 10-hour workdays, providing a compact yet productive workweek.

This is a Contract position based out of Guntersville, AL.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
