We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to play a pivotal role in designing and drafting critical components such as spacecraft, structures, MGSE, actuators, and mechanisms. This role involves parts design, conducting necessary analyses to meet internal hardware performance, life, and environmental requirements, as well as modeling and documenting mechanical systems using CAD. The candidate will also support assembly and testing, including performance assessments in shock, vibration, and space environments.
Responsibilities- Design and draft spacecraft components, structures, MGSE, actuators, and mechanisms.
- Conduct parts design and analyses to ensure hardware performance, life, and environmental standards are met.
- Perform modeling and design documentation of mechanical systems using CAD tools.
- Support assembly and testing phases, including performance assessments in shock, vibration, and space environments.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and GD&T.
- Experience in mechanism design.
- Background in aerospace engineering.
- Experience with on-orbit refueling systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $72.11/hr.
