Description
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Designer 2 to join our team in designing piping systems using AutoCAD-based software. This role is crucial in supporting our shipyard projects, specifically for the United States Coast Guard's large vessel designs. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of a Designer 4 and collaborate closely with other Designers and Engineers. Key Responsibilities: • Design piping systems using AutoCAD-based software. • Translate piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) into 3D models and 2D drawings. • Collaborate with team members to ensure design accuracy and project success. • Communicate frequently with Designers and Engineers to align on project requirements and updates. • Learn and utilize specialized shipbuilding software that integrates with AutoCAD.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
