You will work cross-functionally with engineering, logistics, operations, and external partners to unify scheduling processes and ensure efficient vehicle utilization across programs and locations. This is a high-impact role that requires strong communication, diplomacy, and leadership skills to navigate complex stakeholder relationships and drive alignment across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate vehicle transitions from build to testing, maintenance, and fleet disposition.
  • Plan shop work across multiple locations and external facilities.
  • Schedule third-party test events and support vendor RFQ and DVP burn-down meetings.
  • Act as the liaison between test engineering, shop leads, maintenance teams, program managers, and third-party vendors.
  • Facilitate weekly planning meetings and cross-functional discussions to align resources and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Ensure proper documentation and contracts are in place for vehicle loans and returns.
  • Prioritize scheduling based on program urgency, resource constraints, and test readiness.
  • Monitor and analyze truck usage to identify bottlenecks and underutilization.
  • Recommend adjustments to improve throughput and reduce idle time.
  • Support forecasting and resource planning for future test cycles.
  • Maintain accurate records of truck assignments, test durations, and location movements.
  • Generate utilization reports and dashboards for leadership review.
  • Document standard operating procedures for scheduling and coordination.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, operations management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2 years of experience in scheduling, logistics coordination, or test operations.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle testing environments and lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in scheduling tools and software such as MS Project, Excel, and Jira.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and diplomatically with diverse teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
