Manufacturing Engineer -NEW GRAD WANTED

Join an innovative team dedicated to providing engineering support to manufacturing processes, projects, and functions. This role involves evaluating manufacturing outcomes to implement continuous improvements and cost efficiencies. You will support New Product Introduction (NPI) and new equipment/process introductions. This individual contributor position requires applying professional expertise with minimal supervision.

• Provide engineering support to a manufacturing process, project, or function.
• Evaluate manufacturing outcomes and implement continuous improvements and cost efficiencies.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and new equipment/process introductions.
• Make judgements based on practice and previous experience.
• Ensure processes meet GMP, FDA, and ISO standards.
• Participate in FMEA, Control Plans, CAPAs, and process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Provide technical support for existing processes and troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Develop standard work instructions.
• Collaborate with Quality, R&D, Maintenance, and Operations to resolve issues and meet project goals.

• University degree or extensive practical knowledge in manufacturing engineering.
• Manufacturing engineering experience.
• Proficiency in process improvement and continuous improvement.
• Experience with equipment transfer.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and SolidWorks.
• Design skills.

• 2 years in product transfers.
• 2 years in process improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and statistical tools.
• 2 years in New Product Introduction (NPI), including process validation and documentation.
• 1 year in Quality & Compliance, ensuring adherence to GMP, FDA, and ISO standards.
• 2 years of technical support experience.

Work Monday through Friday, with core hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. The role offers an opportunity to take on leadership within a national medical device company. The project is initially set for 6 months, with a strong likelihood of extension to 15 months based on project needs. Internal contractors often transition to full-time roles based on performance.

This is a Contract position based out of Chandler, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $62.00 - $72.00/hr.
